Note: For a proper analysis, you should find the THESIS first.
Throughout your analyses, you'll find that the answer to "why is it effective?" will seem repetitive. The phrases that stand out as strong examples of literary techniques SHOULD seem this way as they should all echo and reinforce the thesis of each non-fiction article.
Today you received your assignment for the Non-Fiction Unit. Make sure you PRINT, COMPLETE, and SUBMIT the organizer included at the bottom of this page. As well, I've included an exemplar of previous student work.

Final Draft: Due IN CLASS February 20th, 2015 along with ALL process work.
This is the article we will be reading in class when we begin our Non-Fiction Analysis on Monday.
